Your information
What we collect and why
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry topic, and message. We use these details to route your enquiry and reply to you. The form also records a short-lived, keyed fingerprint of your connection to prevent spam; it does not store your raw IP address.
We process contact details with your consent and only for the purpose explained when you submit them. Please do not send sensitive medical, financial, or confidential pastoral information through the website form.
Service providers
How information is handled
Enquiries are delivered to our ministry inbox through Resend. The website is hosted by Vercel, and limited technical data is processed for security, reliable operation, and aggregate website analytics. Vercel Web Analytics reports aggregated visits without cookies or identifiers that track visitors across websites. Supabase stores the short-lived anti-spam fingerprint. These providers process information on our behalf to operate the website.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it only when required by law, to protect people or the ministry, or to trusted providers needed to deliver the requested service.
The Contact page includes an embedded Google Map, and message pages may include privacy-enhanced YouTube players. Loading or using these features can share technical details such as your IP address and browser information with Google. Their handling of that data is governed by Google’s privacy terms.
Authorised administrators may choose to send selected Journal wording to Google Gemini for editing suggestions. Only the selected text is sent, the original remains unchanged until the administrator accepts a suggestion, and administrators are instructed not to submit confidential or personal information through this tool.
Retention & security
Kept only as long as needed
Contact messages are ordinarily deleted from our active inbox within 24 months after the last correspondence, unless we need to retain them longer for a legal obligation, safeguarding concern, or appropriate ministry record. Anti-spam fingerprints are no longer used after 24 hours and stale records are removed as contact-form traffic resumes. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, although no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
Access, correction, and deletion
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, restriction, portable copy, or deletion where applicable, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent for future processing. You may also raise a concern with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
To make a request, email info@hopeofglory.ng. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
